1962: Jos Meeussen begins trading independently in coal and
fertilizers.
1969: Purchases a farm and land on the Molenheiken. This allows
Jos Meeussen to expand activities into increased trade
in turf and potting compost, along with the transport
and sale of manure.
1977:
The first digger for earthworks is purchased. A larger
warehouse and workshop are built.
1978:
Jos Meeussen moves the entire business to Molenheiken

1987:
A special warehouse is built for the production and
storage of potting compost.
1989: The company Jos Meeussen & Zoon bvba is established.
1995: Son Rudi Meeussen is the new manager.
2001: Jos Meeussen & Zoon employs 8 people fulltime.
2003: Jos Meeussen & Zoon introduces the Garden Blower
